Los Roques, an enchanting archipelago nestled in the Caribbean Sea, lies approximately 104 miles north of the Venezuelan coast. A federal dependency of Venezuela which comprises around 350 islands and cays. Renowned for its breathtaking beauty, the archipelago is celebrated for its pristine white-sand beaches, crystalline turquoise waters, and diverse marine life.
Despite its undeniable allure, Los Roques remains somewhat undiscovered, partly due to the requirement for unconventional modes of transportation such as small planes, yachts, sailboats, or helicopters to fully experience its wonders. Among the approximately 5 cays that epitomize perfection, accessing them can be a challenge for the average tourist, who may only get to know at most two.
As a designated National Park, Los Roques has been fortunate to evade the clutches of corporate hotels, preserving its virgin, and magical essence. The absence of exploitation has allowed the archipelago to retain its natural charm, remaining a haven for those seeking an unspoiled and authentic coastal experience.
